Children's Mental Health Awareness Week
"Don't Stand in the Shadows. Let your voice be heard!"
G.E.A.R. Parent Network invites you to promote positive mental health, wellbeing and social development during Children's Mental Health Awareness Week, from May 5-11, 2013. Mental health is essential to overall health and wellbeing and serious behavioral health disorders in children are real and treatable.
Children and youth with mental health challenges and their families deserve access to services and supports that are family driven, youth guided and culturally appropriate.
We believe in acceptance, dignity and social inclusion and believe that you do, too. Please click here to visit our extensive Children's Mental Health Awareness Kit page and please do your part to spread the word!
