Regional Parent Support Coordinator - Bucksport
The person in this position will establish and facilitate support groups and workshops, and participate on committees and build positive collaborative relationships with community behavioral health providers. Through telephone contact, one-on-one contact and support groups, the candidate will also provide emotional support, problem-solving, information related to community resources and children's issues, and help identify the strengths and needs to families of children with behavioral health disabilities.
This position covers Hancock, Washington and Waldo counties. HIgh school diploma or GED required.
This position is 20 hours a week, requires travel, some evening work and working from your own home. Applicants must be a parent of a child with emotional/behavioral disabilities living in one of the counties listed above.
