What Families and Youth Want Conference

(This is a PEANUT FREE conference due to allergies.  Note: Conference registration deadline is May 12th at 5 p.m.)

The 2011 theme for “What Families and Youth Want” Conference: “Growing Resilient Families and Youth in Maine” is sure to be a hit, featuring Keynote Speaker Stan Davis of “Stop Bullying Now” and special lunchtime entertainment by renowned comedian, ex York County Policeman and former Maine resident, Juston McKinney for the 13 and up crowds of families and youth and Magician Phil Smith for the children’s luncheon. We are very pleased with this year’s theme as we strongly believe that the strength of G.E.A.R. Parent Network and Youth MOVE Maine is reected in the diversity and resilience of children, youth, and families dealing with emotional challenges and in their persistence to improve their quality of life.

Registration is limited, so register early and join like minded families and youth who can share their journey for resiliency through shared experiences. This conference will address a variety of those challenges that families and Youth face. Registration preference is for Families and Youth, Providers and Community Members are very welcomed to reserve very limited availability.

See you May 21st!
