G.E.A.R. Parent Network -G.E.A.R. "Great Team Who Rock!" Award

G.E.A.R. Parent Network team presented with the "Great Team Who Rock!" Award June 5, 2008

Keeping Maine's Children Connected, a Maine's Children's Cabinet Initiative, whose mission is to promote success for youth who experience disruption in their educational program, honored "Youth Who Inspire Us and Great People Who Rock" at a ceremony at the Blaine House on June 5, 2008.

First Lady, Karen Baldacci presented the G.E.A.R. Parent Network team with the "Great Team Who Rock!" Award. The award was presented to the G.E.A.R. Parent Network Coordinators who through extraordinary effort and leadership created change so youth-at-risk can complete their education and achieve their goals and dreams.

	G.E.A.R. Parent Network is a Parent-to-Parent Network of Information & Support of Children with Behavioral Health Concerns and is a program of Crisis & Counseling Centers funded by DHHS, Children’s Behavioral Health Services, United Way and Private Donations.
