The National Association of Social Workers, Maine Chapter recipient of the 2007 NASW-Maine Chapter Public Citizen of the Year Award April 11, 2008

On April 11, 2008 the Maine Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers presented the 2007 Public Citizen of the Year award to Cindy Seekins during their 2008 Annual Conference at the Samoset Resort in Rockland, Maine for her outstanding work as the Regional Coordinator for Hancock, Knox, Lincoln, Sagadahoc, Waldo and Washington Counties through the G.E.A.R. Parent Network.

	G.E.A.R. Parent Network is a Parent-to-Parent Network of Information & Support of Children with Behavioral Health Concerns and is a program of Crisis & Counseling Centers funded by DHHS, Children’s Behavioral Health Services, United Way and Private Donations.
